The chores around the house wouldn't get done without Demesne's own play group for Michael Whitemore. The 31-year-old house husband looks after daughter Jessica while his partner Carmen goes out to work. And he says bringing his two-and-half year-old daughter to the Buttons and Bows playgroup is the ideal way to give him the time he needs to run the house.
As well helping him manage his time, coming to Buttons and Bows five-times a week for the last six months has also helped daughter Jessica develop her social skills.
Michael, who lives on Windermere Road, said: “Bringing her here gives me time to get things sorted at home which would take twice as long with Jess at home.”

Michael added: “Her confidence has really improved since she came here as has her communication skills and she is saying so many words now than she was.”
