Come along and find out more about what the course has to offer and what new skills you can learn.  The course will start on Wednesday 29th August 1pm-3pm.

Festival of Ageing

Come and join us at Demesne Community Centre on Saturday 7th July 1pm-4pm to celebrate the Festival of Ageing with a wonderful garden party. We are going to have live entertainment, food, face painting, bouncy castle and much more. Dressing up in retro styles are encouraged. Looking forward to seeing you all there for one great party.

Caretaker / Cleaner
 Part Time Role – 16 hrs per week
 £8.36 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy Caretaker / Cleaner to join the team at the
Demesne Community Association. Duties will include effectively and efficiently overseeing
the site, including building security, cleaning, minor repairs and maintenance. Ideally you’ll
have previous experience in a similar caretaking role.

In addition, applicants should take pride in their work and be committed to maintaining a
clean and safe environment for all users of the community centre. The Community Centre
offers many activities and services, opening it’s doors to a wide range of groups in the local
community. As such, the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and respectful
manner is essential.

In addition to usual working hours there may be occasional additional hours needed for
special events and to allow access for repairs etc, some flexibility will be required in order to
accommodate this.

Please note that all appointments are subject to satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and
Barring Service checks (DBS).
